Our Editors & Staff

Since 1988, we have specialized in offering high-quality editing, proofreading, indexing, typesetting, and writing services. As your partner and as a member of your team, we can oversee and manage your publication from working with your authors through all the production steps including typesetting and presenting files for print or electronic publishing.

Our highly capable staff works with clients to meet their editorial needs. All editorial staff members, as well as independent contractors on our roster of freelance editors, must pass a 3-hour battery of tests.

Has more than 30 years of experience teaching editors, writers, proofreaders, and publications professionals at universities and in client offices. For more than 25 years, has directed and grown Publications Professionals LLC. Specializes in education, environmental issues, religion, biographies, and fiction. Has spent her lifetime working with the English language.

Linda Stringer

PRESIDENT & EDITORIAL DIRECTOR

Developmental & substantive editor, quality specialist

Has expertise in editing global affairs and international tax law. Analyzes and estimates costs for incoming projects. Manages and gives feedback to members of production teams, plus oversees administrative tasks. Has more than 30 years of publications experience and 16 years with Publications Professionals LLC.

OFFICE MANAGER & BOOKKEEPER

Keeps all administrative records and office supplies up to date. Oversees accounts receivable and accounts payable. Manages our administrative relationship with clients and vendors. Has almost 9 years of experience with Publications Professionals LLC.

SENIOR EDITOR & TYPESETTING MANAGER

Editor, project manager, InDesign specialist

Edits and manages projects for a wide range of clients. Redesigns, adapts, and typesets fact sheets, newsletters, reports, journals, and books. Oversees freelance typesetters. Has more than 14 years of experience with Publications Professionals LLC.

Copyeditor, substantive editor, proofreader

Edits and proofreads brochures, articles, reports, and books. Provides project management and quality support. Also serves as a certified education docent at the National Gallery of Art. After freelancing for Publications Professionals LLC, became a staff editor in 2012.

She has exceptional skills utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, using languages such as HTML and CSS, plus creating beautiful websites using WordPress. She most recently joined the Publications Professionals team as a Freelance Web Designer.
